UPPCL JE (Electrical) 2021 notification has been released for 173 vacancies. The application form will be released on November 12. The last date to apply for the exam is December 2.

UPPCL JE (Electrical) Eligibility Criteria 2021
Candidates need to fulfil the following UPPCL JE eligibility criteria for applying to the Electrical post:
The age of candidates should be between 18 and 40 years as on January 1, 2021. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be given to candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC (NCL), Ex-Servicemen, dependents of freedom fighters, physically handicapped, etc.
Candidates must have passed three years Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering offered by the Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, Uttar Pradesh or equivalent Diploma recognised by the State Government
Or,
Three years All India Diploma Examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Government of India
Or,
Diploma examination in Electrical Engineering conducted by any of the universities in India incorporated by an Act of the Central/State legislature

Application Fees

UPPCL JE Selection Process
The selection process comprises CBT only. The CBT will be conducted at Varanasi, Kanpur, Bareilly, Lucknow, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida, and Meerut cities. The duration of the test is three hours. The total marks allotted to the test are 200. The question paper will have a total of 200 questions, out of which 150 questions are asked from Diploma level Engineering, 20 questions from General Knowledge/Awareness, 20 questions from Reasoning, and 10 questions from General Hindi.
For each correct answer, candidates score one mark while for wrong answers, 0.25 marks are deducted. Candidates who obtain less than 30 per cent are rejected from the further process of selection. Candidates shortlisted in CBT are required to appear for document verification. The final selection of candidates is done based on CBT provided they clear the document verification process.
