UPSC CSE IAS Cadre Allocation 2024 List OUT
Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievance and Pensions has released UPSC IAS cadre allocation list of those candidates who opted for Indian Administrative Services in Union Public Service Commission Civil Services Examination 2024. As per IAS Cadre allocation list 2024, AIR 1 Shakti Dubey has been allocated her home state, Uttar Pradesh, as her cadre. AIR 2 Harshita Goyal from Haryana, has received Gujarat as her cadre.
Candidates must know that IAS cadre allocation process follows certain guidelines by Ministry and considers candidates' preferences, rank, and insider/outsider status while preparing and allocating cadres to them.Â

UPSC announced CSE final results on April 22, 2024. Top five UPSC CSE 2024 rankers includes three women. The remaining positions in top five are secured by Dongre Archit Parag rank 3 and Akash Garg at rank 4. Total of 1,009 candidates have been recommended by UPSC for various services in 2024 cycle.Â
The candidates can download the IAS notification pdf in the following manner: Go to upsc.gov.in. Click on the Civil Service notification 2026 link. A new window will appear (on clicking above link). Follow the link for the Civil Service (IAS) 2026 notification pdf link given corresponding to the exam name. Download and Save the notification PDF. The IAS notification 2026 has been postponed.
The Union Public Service Commission will conduct the UPSC Civil Service (prelims) exam on May 24, 2026. The exam will be conducted in two sessions and the General Studies Paper 2 will be qualifying only.

The Union Public Service Commission has postponed the UPSC Civil Service (IAS) notification. The Commission will soon release the new dates for it. With the release of official notification, the UPSC IAS Application form 2026 will also be activated for the candidates. The last date to apply online for the UPSC CSE (IAS) exam 2026 will be revised from February 3, 2026.
