Union Public Service Commission has released UPSC IAS Mains result 2025. Candidates who appeared for Civil Services Mains exam can check their UPSC IAS results on official website upsc.gov.in. No login details are needed as UPSC IAS mains result 2025 is available in pdf format. Candidates can check their roll number and name in UPSC Civil Services mains exam result PDF. Those who have qualified in mains exam will now be called for Personality Test or Interview.  UPSC mains exam was held from August 22 to 31, 2025.

UPSC IAS Personality Test Dates 

As per UPSC IAS result pdf, dates for Personality Test will be announced soon. Civil Services interviews will be held at UPSC office located at Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi 110069. The detailed schedule of interviews will be released on official website soon. The Commission will also issue e-Summon Letters for Personality Test. 

During the UPSC Personality Test, they will have to submit documents like proof of educational qualifications, community certificate, reservation claim, and certificates related to the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) and Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD).

The Union Public Service Commission releases the UPSC IAS result online on upsc.gov.in. The candidates can see below the steps to check their IAS result:

  • Visit the official website of UPSC at upsc.gov.in.
  • Go to the "What's New" section and click on the UPSC Civil Service (IAS) exam result link.
  • Click on the "Civil Services Result" link that appears.
  • Search for your roll number in the UPSC Result PDF.

Q: ย  Can a candidate appeal against the UPSC result?
A:
The candidate can appeal against the UPSC result but it would be very difficult that the candidate can win against UPSC because the procedure followed by the UPSC is very transparent and the same is submitted in the Courts when asked for by the court. The candidates can win only if they secure more than their category cutoff but still, they were declared failed in the UPSC result.
Q: ย  Is UPSC release the IAS result with names also?
A:
Yes, the Union Public Service Commission mention the names of the selected candidates in the IAS results. The Commission releases the result with names separately. Firstly the UPSC releases the result containing the roll numbers only but later it releases the names of the selected candidates too. This procedure is followed to crosscheck and verify the result and the selected candidates.
