Commission is expected to release UPSC IAS Notification 2026 on January 14, 2026. The notification will include number of vacancies and other information such as UPSC IAS application correction dates, eligibility, pattern, and syllabus.
Union Public Service Commission is all set to release UPSC IAS 2026 notification tomorrow. Along with notification UPSC IAS application form 2026 will also be activated at the official website upsconline.nic.in. The last date to fill application form is February 3, 2026.
The UPSC IAS Notification will be a PDF document containing all important information related to exam including total number of vacancies, eligibility, syllabus and pattern.

For proposing any changes to notification, Union Public Service Commission need to take approval of Ministry of Personnel. IAS eligibility has following factors - Age limit, Number of Attempts, Educational Qualification, and Exemptions provided to reserved category candidates.

The candidates can know their UPSC roll number in the manner given below:
- Go to the oportal of Union Public Service Commission.
- Follow the admit card link floating under the What’s New section.
- Click on the link, enter the registration number and password.
- The admit card will appear on the screen.
- Check your roll number as mentioned on the admit card.

NDA 2024 exam dates have been announced by UPSC. NDA 1 2024 exam was conducted on April 21, 2024. NDA 2 2024 exam was conducted on September 1, 2024. NDA 1 2024 exam was conducted to select candidates for January 2025 session and NDA 2 2024 exam was conducted for admission to the courses beginning at NDA & NA in July 2025. NDA exam comprises two papers-Maths and GAT. The total marks allotted to the written exam are 900. The SSB interview carries 900 marks. Candidates qualifying the written exam of NDA are called for SSB interview. Candidates are required to secure 25 per cent in each subject to qualify the exam. The final selection of candidates is done based on the performance in the written exam and SSB interview.
The application form will also be activated on upsc.gov.in. To fill application, the candidates need to pay application fees depending on category. The application fee can be paid through application fee via Visa/ Master/ RuPay credit/ debit card or internet banking of SBI.
To register for IAS Exam 2026, you need to visit official website of UPSC- upsconline.nic.in, click on Exam Notifications tab, and then apply online link, click on link available for Civil Services Part-I registration, and read instructions carefully before clicking on yes.
For registration you need to enter Name, Date of birth, Category, Gender, Email ID, Contact number, Permanent address, Marital status, Parents' names, Community, and Educational Qualification.
