The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely to release the Civil Services (Main) examination (CSE) result 2019 after January 9. Earlier, the CSE result 2019 was scheduled to be declared last month.
However, the result was delayed due to the ongoing case in the Central Administrative Tribunal on the Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) quota. "Following the court’s verdict, the commission will be releasing the UPSC CSE result 2019 anytime soon, next week for sure," the secretary added.
UPSC CSE main took place between September 20 and September 29, last year. All the candidates who will clear the mains examination will have to undergo the interview round which carries 275 marks. There are no minimum qualifying marks for the interview round.
The Commission will be uploading the cut-off marks and the answer keys of the screening test though the CS (P) examination, 2019 on the official website- upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in after the entire process of the Civil Services Examination 2019 is concluded, which is after the declaration of the final results.
