NDA 1 Exam Analysis 2026 LIVE: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the exam on April 12 at several exam centres across the country. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. First shift is from 10 to 12:30 pm and second shift is from 2 pm to 4:30 pm. Here after the conclusion of each shift we will provide the NDA 1 exam analysis for both Maths and GAT based on the feedback received from the students. The total marks allotted to the exam are 900. The NDA 1 answer key will be released separately for both Maths and GAT. NDA 1 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
NDA 1 exam day guidelines are provided below.
- Candidates must bring the printout of the NDA admit card along with the original photo identity card
- Candidates must preserve their admit cards till the declaration of the final result
- Candidates are advised to visit NDA exam centre in advance to familiarise themselves with the location to avoid the last-minute hassle in their own interest
- Candidate should not bring a mobile phone (even in switched off mode), pager or any electronic equipment or programmable device, or storage media like pen drive, smart watches, etc., or a camera or Bluetooth devices or any other equipment or related accessories, either in working or switched off mode, capable of being used as a communication device during the examination
- Use of a normal or simple wrist watch by candidates is allowed inside the examination hall
- Answers should be marked with a black ballpoint pen
- Candidates must bring two passport size photographs

Important NDA 1 2026 Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates must follow instructions issued by UPSC to avoid disqualification
- Carry a printed copy of NDA 1 admit card along with valid photo ID proof. Entry without these documents will not be allowed
- Late entry to exam hall is prohibited. Gates will be closed well before NDA 1 exam begins
- Wear simple and comfortable clothing
- Do not carry mobile phones smartwatches calculators Bluetooth devices or any electronic gadgets
- They must use black ballpoint pen to mark answers

NDA 2026 Live Updates: Selection Process
The selection process consists if the written exam, SSB Interview, Medical Examination and Final Merit List. The total marks for the NDA exam allotted is 1800 out of which written exam is of 900 marks and SSB is of 900 marks.

Few exam day guidelines for NDA exam are given below:
The entry gate closes 10 minutes before the exam begins
For the morning session, the entry closes at 9.50 am while for the afternoon session, the entry closes at 1.50 pm
Candidates need to preserve their admit cards till the exam day
Mobile phones, calculators, or any other electronic devices are banned inside the exam centre
Candidates should bring a black point
Candidates whose photograph is not clearly printed on NDA admit card should bring photo-identity proof and three passport-sized photographs
The medicals after NDA SSB are called SMB (Special medical Board). This done at the Military Hospitals. Each recommended candidate are required to go through it. The TR/PR candidates get another chance to prove themselves medically fit within 42 days from the medical conference, this is called AMB (Appeal medical Board). This takes place at Command Hospitals. The candidates who are rejected from AMB may or may not get the chance for Review Medical Board (RMB). RMB is not the right of the candidate but is given by reviewing your ailment by senior doctors of Army at the office of DGMS behind North Block, near Rashtrapati Bhavan. It usually takes about a month.
