UPSSSC PET Recruitment Exam 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission will conduct the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) on September 6 and 7, with over 25.32 lakh candidates registered to appear for the recruitment exam. The UPSSSC PET will be conducted in four shifts over two days across 48 districts, accommodating nearly 6.33 lakh candidates in each shift.

The UPSSSC PET morning session will be held from 10 am to 12 noon, while the afternoon session will be held from 3 pm to 5 pm. Each candidate has been allotted one of the four shifts by the commission. The details regarding exam day and shift timings have been mentioned on the UPSSSC PET admit card that has been issued and can be downloaded online from the official website, or via the link sent to candidates’ email addresses.

What Arrangements are made for UPSSSC PET Exam?

With UPSSSC PET registrations rising this year, the exam will now be conducted across 48 districts. As per some media reports, the following special arrangements have been made for conducting the UPSSSC PET 2025:

  • The state authorities have put in place law-and-order and logistical arrangements for the UPSSSC PET.
  • The Special Task Force (STF) has been asked to remain attentive to maintain the sanctity of the exam.
  • Railway and roadways officials have been asked to:
    • Set up helpdesks at bus stands and stations
    • Provide drinking water, public toilets, and night shelters
    • Ensure route-wise announcements and run more buses
  • Toilets, water tankers, medical camps, and ambulances will be deployed near UPSSSC PET exam centres.
  • Officers will be stationed at bus stands to ensure the smooth departure of candidates after the UPSSSC PET exam.
  • A control room has been set up in the collectorate for monitoring.
  • CCTV cameras have been installed at exam centres.
  • In Lucknow, exam centre gates will close 30 minutes before the exam begins.
