Schools in Andhra Pradesh to reopen from July 13
Andhra Pradesh government has directed all schools in the state to reopen from July 13. Read further to know more.
Andhra Pradesh government has announced that it will reopen schools from July 13, 2020, under the strict coronavirus restrictions and protocols in place. However, the schools will be reopened only for teachers and staff and not for students. All the headmasters and teachers of Primary, Upper Primary and High Schools have to complete the of the UDISE+ data and updating all the Registers on or before July 10. Primary schools will be conducted once in a week, upper primary and higher schools will be open twice in a week in the state from July 13 so that the teachers and headmaster can finish their work in the school itself.
Until the normalcy is restored, students will be studying the bridge courses that have been introduced.
As per the official notice, all the headmasters and teaching, non-teaching staff working in schools where Nadu Nedu works have to continue going to schools. The headmasters have to allocated Nedu Nedu -related work to teachers who need to be complete it on or before July 31.
The notice further stated that, those teachers who are living in the containment zones, or suffering from chronic diseases or are visually or physically handicapped do not need to attend the school.
Moreover, Headmasters in schools where Nadu Nedu works have to draw up a school development plan and an academic plan on how students will be assisted until the time the schools reopen for students.
To ensure that all the bridge course material- implementation work and other academic work is done, all headmasters and teachers of all government primary schools have to attend school once a week every Tuesday from July 13.
