Schools in Haryana to reopen from June 1 for Classes 9 to 12
Earlier Haryana government had extended the June summer vacations in advance due to COVID-19 which will now be over on May 31, 2021.
Haryana government has announced that it has decided to open schools in the state from June 1, 2021. Haryana government will allow students from 9th to 12th grade to attend school from June 1. Earlier Haryana government had extended the June summer vacations in advance due to COVID-19 which will now be over on May 31, 2021. It must be noted that schools are allowed to open under certain guidelines which are issued by Haryana Government.
For opening schools in June orders related have been sent to the Directorate of Education to district education offices across the state to send School wise data of students' infrastructure including a number of Bench rooms in the school. Since the effect of coronavirus in every district of Haryana is gradually decreasing the Directorate of Education main open the school from June 1. Under the guidelines that only a single student will be allowed to sit on a single bench. All the schools in order to open from June 1 must follow covid instructions released by DoE.
Kurukshetra district education officer Arun Ashri said," In order to confirm the government directives a link to Google form was sent 2 months ago by the directorate. It was replenished by sending 116 school principals from across the district information has gone directly to the Directorate. Also, immediate action was taken and there was no intervention of district office making the decision."
Along with this new rule of one student for each bench, all the other covid-19 instructions will also be applicable such as masking hand sanitizing social distancing. These directives are made mandatory for schools that will open from June 1 for students of classes 9 to 12.
On Sunday, the state Education Minister had announced that BSEH 12th exams 2021 from June 15 2021. Earlier, Haryana Board decided to cancel HBSE 10th Board Exams 2021 and evaluate the Class 10 students on the basis of internal assessments.
