A recent poll conducted by Shiksha.com on CUET UG 2026 subject selection has revealed how aspirants are approaching the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for undergraduate admissions this year. The poll highlights clear trends in the number of CUET 2026 subject papers students are opting for, reflecting both competitive strategies and growing awareness about university admission criteria. Candidates can opt for maximum five CUET subjects while filling the application form.

CUET UG 2026 Shiksha poll asked candidates: “How many subject papers have you applied for in CUET UG 2026?” The response is as follows:
- Five subjects: 48%
- Four subjects: 24%
- Three subjects: 23%
- Two subjects: 5%
With nearly half of the candidates (48%) choosing CUET five subjects, it is evident that most aspirants are trying to keep their admission options as open as possible.
