The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important public notice regarding a mismatch in candidate photographs and identity proof documents submitted for the CUET UG 2026 exam. Candidates who are affected must take immediate action to avoid complications during the examination process. NTA has opened the correction window from April 07 to April 10, 2026. Candidates must ensure to upload the verified document for issuance of the intimation slips, admit card and to appear for the CUET UG 2026 exam. NTA will conduct CUET 2026 exam between May 11 and May 31, 2026.

CUET UG 2026 Photo Mismatch: What Candidates Need to Do?

For candidates who have photo mismatch issue, NTA has provided a one-time correction opportunity. Candidates must:

  • Upload a signed and attested certificate along with a recent passport-size photograph.
  • The certificate must be verified by:
    • School/College Principal or Headmaster, OR
    • A Class-I Gazetted Officer (e.g., Tehsildar, SDM, DM)
    • Indian Embassy officials (for NRI candidates)

CUET UG 2026 Correction Window

Candidates can upload the duly signed certificate in PDF format provided below and sent on the registered email ID between April 07 and April 10, 2026. Additionally, such candidates must carry printed copy of the ame document at exam centre for physical verification on alloted exam day.
