IISER exam officials have released the IAT 2024 Round 4 counselling closing rank list today, August 14, 2024, on the official website. Candidates who have been offered a seat in the IISER institutes can fill out the IAT 2024 decision-making form from 4 pm onwards. IISER 2024 Round 4 Closing Rank List Released
IISER 2024 Round 4 Counselling/ Admission List released on August 14, 2024, on the official website. IISER has opened the portal for the candidates who have been offered seats in IISER institutes to fill out the IAT 2024 decision-making form from today, 5 pm onwards. The exam officials have released the IISER 2024 round 4 institute and category-wise AIR closing rank list. Candidates whose AIR rank lying on the released rank list will have the option of either accepting the allocated seat or floating the seat. The last date for accepting the allocated seat and filling out the decision-making form is August 16, 2024, till 5 pm.
While accepting the allocated seat, candidates will also need to pay the seat acceptance fee on the official website via online internet banking. The offer letter that the candidates are getting is purely based on the merit list scores that they have achieved in the IAT 2024 examination.

How to Fill IISER 2024 Decision-Making Form
After the declaration of the IAT 2024 seat allotment list, candidates whose AIR rank lies in the released closing rank list will then have two options ie., accept or reject the seat. Candidates can check out how to fill out the IISER 2024 decision-making form by following the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the IAT 2024 official website and log in to your registered account with the help of login credentials i.e., username and password- iiseradmission.in
- then click on the submit reference tab present on the left corner of the system.
- Next “Click Here to Submit Your Decision”
- You will see this kind of offer letter once you click “Click here to download the offer letter”. This is a sample offer letter.
- Click “DECISION MAKING” and then click “Click Here to View Allotted Seat”
- Click “Generate OTP” to go to the next page
- Enter the captcha to receive the OTP
- Check your registered mobile number and/or email ID for the OTP
- Validate the OTP received on your registered mobile number and/or email address
- Once the OTP is validated successfully this pop-up will come
- After validating the OTP, you need to select one of the options. Candidates who received their 1st choice will not see the FLOAT (I WANT TO ACCEPT AND FLOAT MY SEAT PREFERENCE) option
- Please select the option carefully and click “Proceed”. Once submitted, NO FURTHER CHANGES WILL BE ALLOWED.
IISER 2024 Seat Acceptance Fee
Candidates can check out the IAT 2024 Seat Acceptance form fee details from here:
- INR 35,000/- (INR 25,000/- + INR 10,000/- (Non-refundable administrative fee)) for General/EWS/OBC/OBC-NCL/PwD/KM/Kashmiri Pandit/Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non-Migrants) categories.
- INR 17,500/- (INR 12,500/- + INR 5000/- (Non refundable administrative fee)) for SC/ST categories.
Only the meritorious candidates IAT 2026 Test will get the opportunity to sit in the IISER 2026 counselling process. Based on the past years' trends, it is expected that the IISER Aptitude Test Counselling process 2026 will be conducted between fourth week of June to the fourth week of September 2026.
Candidates who are applying for the IISER 2024 counselling process need to remember the following points before applying:
Note -1:
a) To be considered for counselling, filling up the IISER Preference Form is mandatory.
b) Please upload your Class XII marksheet or Class XII improvement marksheet and Caste certificate (in the Applicant Details section) if applicable and if you have not uploaded the same while filling up the Application Form.
Note-2:
a) All candidates with a score of 1 and above are awarded with an Overall Rank. Obtaining a rank does not ensure admission to IISERs. Only those candidates who submit the IISER Preference Form will be considered for admission to IISERs.
b) Category rank, if applicable and as reflected on the scorecard, is provisional subject to the verification of documents.
