IISER has recently released the IISER entrance exam 2025 First round of counselling/admission list on July 21, 2025, for candidates taking admissions to the BS-MS dual degree and BS degree programme offered by IISER institutes. Test takers who have successfully registered for the IAT 2025 counselling registration process can visit the official website ie., iiseradmission.in and check out the category-wise opening and closing ranks of IISER 2025 exam participating institutes.
Candidates whose AIR/Category rank lies in the mentioned ranks by the exam officials can register for taking/ freezing the seat by paying the IISER 2025 seat acceptance fees. The offer letter that the candidates are getting is purely based on the merit list scores that they have achieved in the IAT 2025 examination. For further details, like IISER 2025 seat acceptance fees and seat acceptance process, candidates can read this Shiksha Article.
The late date to accept the seat offered by the respective IISER is July 26, 2025. In the IISER 2025 Seat allotment process, candidates need to check the offer letter first, and if they have received any offer from any of the IISERs, then they have two options.
- If a candidate receives an admission offer, he/she can either choose to accept the seat OR reject it by not taking any action. If the candidate rejects the offered seat or if no action is taken by the candidate before the deadline, then the candidate will not be able to participate in further rounds of counselling. The candidate will be eliminated from the counselling process.
- If a candidate receives an offer, then to "Accept & Float" or to "Accept & Freeze", the student must pay a seat acceptance fee through online mode before the prescribed deadline. If the seat acceptance fee is not paid, the candidate will not be considered for admission in subsequent allocation rounds.
