IIT JAM Registration Deadline: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will continue until JAM application process until October 12, 2026. Candidates who wish to appear for Joint Admission Test for Masters must complete IIT JAM registration 2027 online at official website jam.iitkgp.ac.in. 

After submission, IIT JAM applications will be scrutinised to verify information entered by candidates against supporting documents uploaded with registration form. The authorities will also check clarity and quality of candidate's photograph and signature.

During scrutiny process of IIT JAM application form, authorities will verify whether all details and documents submitted by candidate are in order. If an application meets prescribed requirements, it will be accepted. In case any discrepancy or defect is identified, the defect will be marked in IIT JAM 2027 application. 

Candidates will be informed about defects and will be given a stipulated time to rectify them. IIT JAM application status and details of any defects identified during scrutiny will be communicated to candidates through email and/or SMS.
