JEST Form Submission Date Extended

Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research Tirupati has extended the Joint Entrance Screening Test form submission date to March 25, 2026. Earlier, the JEST registration last date was March 23, 2026. The application form is available on the website, jest.org.in. The authority commenced the JEST 2026 registration on February 26, 2026. JEST 2026 is scheduled on April 12, 2026.

Candidates can follow the process to fill out and submit the JEST application form 2026.

• Complete the registration
• Fill the form and upload the required documents
• Pay the application fees
• Submit the form

JEST 2026 Form Fee

JEST application fees for SC/ST/ PwD category are Rs 600, while other category has to pay Rs. 1200.

There is no specific eligibility criterion to apply for JEST. However, students must have completed the MSc in Physics or another relevant subject to apply for the JEST 2026.

Joint Entrance Screening Test is national level entrance test conducted once a year. The screening test is conducted for admission to PhD, Integrated PhD, and MSc programs in Physics; PhD and Integrated PhD programs in Theoretical Computer Science; and PhD program in Computational Biology. The exam level is of MSc, or an advanced BSc or advanced BSc in Physics and Computer Science.
