NEST 2025: First Round Admission Reporting at NISER Begins July 25: Check Required Documents, Process

NEST 2025: First Round Admission Reporting at NISER Begins July 25: Check Required Documents, Process

The NEST NISER Round 1 Admission Process is scheduled on July 25, 2025. All the selected candidates need to visit the official website to prepare all the important documents they need to carry on the day of campus reporting in person to the NISER campus, Jatni, on 25th July 2025, 9:00 am.

The National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar, released the first-round campus admission reporting for NEST 2025 on July 25, 2025. All the selected candidates who have received the invitation for the first round must report in person to the NISER campus, Jatni, by 9:00 am on July 25, 2025. 

All candidates must report to the NISER Campus as per the given schedule. If a student fails to do so, their seat will be forfeited and will not be considered for any further admission rounds, regardless of their merit rank.

NEST NISER Round 1 Admission Process

Candidates must go through the following points to understand the NEST NISER 2025 Counselling Process. 

• Admission will be done strictly based on merit among students who report in person on July 25, 2025, by 9:00 am.
• The Round 1 admission queue will be prepared from the candidates' report on time.
• NEST NISER Admission offers will be based on merit list, and the counselling process will continue until all seats are filled or exhausted.
• Candidates who do not get admission on July 25, 2025, will still go through document verification.
• A category-wise waiting list will be prepared from the verified students who were not offered admission on July 25, 2025.
•  NISER will contact candidates from the waiting list directly, if there are any seat withdrawals. Therefore, no need to report again.

NEST NISER 2025 Counselling: Important Documents

Here is the list of all the required documents candidates must carry at the time of campus reporting for the document verification process.

1. Printed NISER application/admission form
2. Two recent passport-size photographs
3. NEST 2025 scorecard
4. Aadhaar Card (Original + 1 photocopy)
5. 10th/matriculation certificate (Original + 1 photocopy)
6. 12th Marksheet.
7. College/School leaving certificate (original)
8. Valid caste certificate for admission against reserved seats (original + 1 photocopy)
9. Valid certificate of disability for admission against Divyangjan category (Original + 1 photocopy)
10. Valid Domicile certificate for admission against J&K category (original + 1 photocopy)

Candidates are advised to check their documents before the first-round admission because lack of important documents and late reporting will lead to permanent disqualification from the NISER admission process for the academic session 2025-26.
