Talisma launches Talisma Jeevika platform to help University students become job ready

Talisma Corporation Pvt Ltd has launched a first of its kind platform called Talisma Jeevika that will provide University students end-to-end support throughout their student lifecycle. Talisma Jeevika will provide job assistance by enabling connectivity with the state skill portal and generate internship/apprentice opportunities. It will also assist students in helping them prepare for interviews.

Right from providing job data across industries and roles, this AI driven platorm will also help them to be job ready, enable them to pick the right courses and will act as a guide in their learning and development. The platform offers a unique unified enrolment portal for students and will increase awareness about government schemes. It will recommend improvement areas and encourage students to complete the courses. With regard to employment readiness, the product will identify job market/student fitment, offer personalised skill assessments and enable skill upgradation.

Said Dr. Raj Mruthyunjayappa, Chairman and CEO of Talisma Corporation, “The vision for Talisma Jeevika is to drive innovation to solve problems for the nation. Talisma Jeevika will provide an early connection with students to offer a roadmap for potential jobs and also handhold the students for both academic and employment success. It will also provide ‘course-skill-job’ mapping for students for personalized assistance”.

Talisma will be providing this solution to Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) as its first client. KSOU provides 65 programs including UG, PG, Diploma and Certificate courses, for over 60,000 distance education students. It also has the license to teach 10 courses online. India’s national average of student employment is currently a glaring 12.2% only (as per a report by the Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy). Talisma Jeevika will assist the students right from choosing the right course based on their aspirations at the time of joining the University till they are employed and continue its efforts through the alumni association as well.
