Sports Authority of India will be conducting the quiz in four rounds – School, Preliminary, State and National – with over Rs 3 crore in prize money for both schools and participants.

Fit India Quiz 2021: The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has recently announced the Fit India Quiz for school students. According to the reports, the quiz is a part of the ‘Fit India Movement’. The authority will be conducting the quiz in four rounds – School, Preliminary, State and National – with over Rs 3 crore in prize money for both schools and participants. Schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBCE) have been asked for maximum participation.

Interested students must note that the registrations for the quiz will commence on July 1 and end on July 31. The preliminary round, which will be held online by the National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled for September 4. However, the state round and the national round will be held in October and November respectively.

The national round consists of quarter-finals, semi-finals and the Final. There is prize money of Rs 2, 50,000 for the national champion team and their school will receive Rs 25 lakh. Meanwhile, the first runner-up team will receive Rs 1, 50,000 and the school will receive Rs 15 lakh. Similarly, the second runner team will receive Rs 1 lakh and the school will receive Rs 10 lakh.

Team and schools securing the first, second and third position in the state rounds will be winning cash prizes. The same will be offered to those who qualify for the states round by clearing the preliminary or NTA round.
