To impart quality education to the students of Tripura, the government has introduced the NCERT curriculum from the ongoing academic session.

To improve the quality of education in the northeastern states, the Tripura government has introduced 21 new schemes and taken copious steps in the past 23 months. While addressing an official function, Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar expressed that they are not sure if any other state government has introduced a large number of 21 schemes or taken such major steps in the past 23 months to improve the quality of education in the schools.

To impart quality education to the students of Tripura, the government has introduced the NCERT curriculum from the ongoing academic session. While inaugurating the recently constructed building in Kalyanpur Higher Secondary School, Khowai district in western Tripura, the Chief Minister talked about the introduction of the NCERT curriculum in the ongoing academic session.

So far, the Tripura government has opened 50 new schools, converted 28 Bengali medium schools to English medium schools, improved the school libraries, and take multiple steps to make Tripura schools as a place to impart quality education.

Talking about the initiatives taken by the Government, the CM expressed that in order to enhance education quality in Tripura, the government took a mission under which it centralised examination paper, imparted vigorous teachers' training, monitored teaching in schools, and evaluated the performance of the teachers. The government has also converted 28 Bengali medium schools to English medium schools, modernised the school libraries, and improved the condition of basic amenities.

Slamming the previous government, the CM didn’t mention the opposition party’s name but claimed that the previous government never thought about the future of the students of Tripura.
