SSC Stenographer 2019 exam dates announced for skill test; check details here

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released SSC Stenographer 2019 exam dates for skill test. SSC Stenographer 2019 skill test for the eligible candidates will be conducted on October 21 and 22, 2021. SSC Stenographer admit card 2019 for skill test will be uploaded soon on the regional websites of SSC. To download the admit card, candidates need to login with registration number/roll number and date of birth.

Important points related to SSC Stenographer Skill Test

Few important points related to SSC Stenographer skill test are given below:

• The printout of the typed text is not taken after the Stenography skill test (Transcription)
• Candidates for English transcription (Typing) are advised to choose English (US) as their keyboard layout option
• Candidates for Hindi transcription (Typing) are advised to choose Hindi Inscript /Hindi Krutidev/ Hindi Remington CBI / Hindi Remington GAIL as their keyboard layout option
• VH candidates who will bring their BRAILLE Typewriter will be allotted an isolated seat to avoid any disturbance to other candidates
• The Commission will provide the computer and keyboard and shorthand notebook for the test. No candidates will be allowed to bring their own keyboard
• Candidates will have to bring their own pen/pencil /sharpener/eraser for the test
• Compensatory time to eligible candidates will only be permissible during transcription (Typing), there will not be any compensatory time during the shorthand dictation
