Staff Selection Commission Stenographer 2025 ( SSC Stenographer )
The Staff Selection Commission released SSC Stenographer dates in its official exam calendar. The Commission notified that SSC Stenographer notification will be released in April 2026. In addition to that the Commission will conduct SSC Stenographer exam in August-September. The Commission mentioned only tentative months in its exam calendar and it will release the actual dates soon on its official website - ssc.gov.in.
The Commission will conduct SSC Stenographer exam online as a Computer-Based Exam (CBE). The candidates should note that their exam city intimation slip and the SSC Stenographer admit card will be released separately under their login. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D skill test on January 28 and 29, 2026. The candidates should note that rest of the process for the skill test will remain same as mentioned in the earlier notice. The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC Stenographer result on November 28, 2025.

The Staff Selection Commission is expected to release the new SSC Stenographer 2026 dates in its exam calendar. The Commission will release the application dates and tentative exam dates of the SSC Stenographer 2026 exam.

SSC Stenographer Skill Test Dates 2025
The Staff Selection Commission will conduct the SSC Stenographer skill test for Grade C and D posts on January 28 and 29. Earlier it was planned in the last week of March. The Commission planned to conduct the skill test with the departmental exam. The Staff Selection Commission conducted the SSC Stenographer exam in August 6 to 8. The Commission released its result on November 28. The Commission selected 8,624 candidates for the skill test stage. The Commission will soon release the Skill Test date and the final result will be released around a month after the skill test.

Filling of application form: SSC Stenographer application form is released online on the official website. Interested candidates are advised to fill the application form within the prescribed deadline. The application fee is INR 100 for General and OBC candidates. While SC, ST, women, and ESM candidates are exempted from payment of fee.
