
The Staff Selection Commission has preponed the SSC Stenographer Skill Test and released the new dates for it. The Commission released a notice on its Central Portal - ssc.gov.in notifying that the SSC Stenographer Grade C and D skill test will be conducted on January 28 and 29, 2026. The candidates should note that rest of the process for the skill test will remain same as mentioned in the earlier notice. The Commission will conduct the Skill Test of the SSC Stenographer exam on Computer and with the help of a Audio CD. The candidates will be required to hear that CD and type on the Computer provided at the exam centre. The Staff Selection Commission released the SSC Stenographer result on November 28, 2025.

The Commission released its result on November 28. The Commission selected 8,624 candidates for the skill test stage. The Commission will soon release the Skill Test date and the final result will be released around a month after the skill test.
