UPSC IAS Interview 2019 postponed due to coronavirus epidemic. Read below for details
UPSC has deferred the IAS interviews scheduled from March 23 to April 3 due to a novel coronavirus epidemic. The UPSC has issued a notice on March 20 stating the decision of postponing the IAS interviews until further notice. UPSC is the most punctual body in the country that conducts all its exams on the scheduled date. It is for the first time in recent years that UPSC has postponed its exam or event.

UPSC scheduled the IAS interview 2019 from February 17 to April 3, 2020. Now the UPSC has decided that the IAS interviews of the remaining candidates will be scheduled to later dates when the present situation will be calm. The coronavirus will affect the whole UPSC exam calendar of this year. Besides the IAS interview, UPSC reschedules various interviews through a separate notice.
The IAS exam 2020 which is scheduled on May 31 may also affect because of the coronavirus epidemic in the country. The IAS exam 2020 process started with the official notification of IAS Exam on February 18 and March 3 was the last date of IAS application. The candidates should start preparing each of the topics as given in the IAS Syllabus so they can ensure their selection in the IAS Exam 2020.
Amid of coronavirus spread in India, it is the opportunity in disguise. The government has taken several steps to counter the spread of coronavirus and most universities have moved to online learning. Candidates can prepare for the competitive exams from home with no disturbance.
