Mystory@P Santosh: How I selected my career
I studied BSc from Institute of Science, Nagpur and my subjects were Physics, Chemistry, Maths in UG and English, Hindi and Sociology in PG. I wanted to become an army officer, but I failed in my first attempt of NDA exam. Nevertheless, I continued my efforts and cleared two attempts in CDS exam. Later, I even got selected for SSB interview. I went to Bhopal once and another time I went to Bangalore, but unfortunately I lost my chance of getting selected. It was then that I decided to get enrolled to fire services. In the very first attempt I cleared and passed the training and attained success. I did a Diploma in Industrial Safety and Fire Fighting.
Presently, I am working as a lecturer in Atlanta College. My journey to this designation was literally a bed of thorns since I lost my parents and faced numerous hardships in life. But I had the desire in me to keep going strong. The fire for learning something new is still on, and for the same I want to get admission in PhD now.
