Online LLM in IT and telecom law from UK varsity
The School of Law at the University of Southampton (UK) has introduced an online distance learning LLM programme in information technology and telecommunications law. “We are offering six modules on the LLM course wherein three modules will be available in each semester. To obtain a Master’s degree, one needs to complete four modules and also submit a dissertation,” says Professor Steve Saxby, director for LLM. In order to enroll for this course, the candidate needs to have an upper second class honors degree either in law (LLB) or a degree with a significant legal component. Furthermore, if the student’s first language is not English then English language proficiency will be looked into for evidence. The fee for students enrolling for October 2010 session would be 7,000 pounds.
