According to the official website of JECRC University, the shortlisting of students depends on their scores in the previous qualifying exam. Apart from this, the CUET UG exam is also considered for admissions to all its UG courses, including BCom. Shortlisted candidates need to ensure compliance with the desired eligibility requirements.

The recent JECRC University BCom placement report is not available. Hence, as per the overall report, more than 2,230 offers were made in the 2025 placements. The highest and mean packages offered to students in the placement drive of 2025 were INR 33 LPA and INR 6 LPA, respectively. Additionally, 140 companies visited the campus. Furthermore, over 800 students were placed with a compensation package of over INR 7 LPA. Amazon was the one to offer the highest package.

The JECRC University provides three-year BCom programmes in six semesters. The BSc courses are under the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS). The course curriculum is prepared based on the subjects and specialisation areas chosen. The university uses a semester pattern for its BCom programmes to offer systematic learning to the applicants.
