Yes, students can generally open multiple accounts in the bank as there is no restyriction from the banks for the same. Students can even multiple accounts with the same bank, given that they are eligible for the same. 

Many students use a traditional high-street bank (like Lloyds or HSBC) to have their student loanor salary paid into these accounts and to pay major bills. However, students often use a digital bank (like Monzo or Revolut) for daily spending, travel, and budgeting. Having multiple accounts does not harm the credit rating of the students as long as they are managed responsibly.

No, Commerce stream is not compulsory for admissions to the BCom course at MIT CoM. Candidates from any stream can apply for the BCom course. The basic eligibility requirement for admission to the BCom course is candidates must complete their Class 12 or Diploma after Class 10 examinations from any recognised board of education with an aggregate of 50%. Moreover, the admission is based on merit.

MIT College of Management BCom admission is merit-based, which is evaluated on the basis of scores candidates acheived in their higher senior secondary/ Class 12. The accepance of any entrance examination scores for admission to BCom course is not explicitly mentioned on the official website of the college. Moreover, the merit cutoff may vary each academic year. Therefore, the admission to the BCom course at MIT CoM is merit-based.
