Yes, after completing Class 12 in Science stream, a student can pursue BCom (Hons.) course at Saveetha University. To get admission, candidates would need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by Saveetha University. However, for BCom and BCom Honours courses, the preferences are given more to Commerce stream students.

Students enrolled in BCom courses at Saveetha University get to choose from different specialisations. Moreover, the university offers BCom courses with the affiliation of CMA, US & and ACCA, UK. The duration of BCom specialisations at SIMATS is three to three years, and only BCom (Hons.) is offered for four years. The names of the available BCom specialisations are Accounting and Finance with Professional Accounting (Integrated with ACCA, UK ), BCom in Accounts and Finance, Strategic Finance Integrated with CMA, US, and Corporate Secretaryship.

Yes, there are so many government job opportunities that BCom students can seek after completing their degree. In the government sector, there is a requirement for students from the commerce and banking fields. Some of the gov. job roles that students can pursue are:
- IBPS PO
- RBI Grade B Officer
- SBI PO
- SBI Clerk
- IBPS Clerk, etc.
To get these jobs, candidates have to qualify for the eligibility criteria and entrance exams followed by PI. To apply offline for SIMATS BCom course, candidates must go to the admissions office in Chennai, where they receive the application form and prospectus after paying INR 1,000 in cash or by DD. Further, candidates must complete the application form according to the guidelines in the prospectus and mail the completed and signed document to the specified address. Candidates must complete the admission process within the date and specified time.

RKDF University accepts the CUET UG examination for BCom admissions. It is one of the premier entrance exams that allows students to get admission to various UG and PG courses offered by various universities.
