Yes, reserved category students are eligible for relaxation in marks for admission to the BCom programme at Pillai HOC College of Arts, Science & Commerce. The general category students need at least 45% in their Class 12 examination. However, the reserved category candidates can apply with a minimum of 40% marks. This relaxation will ensure better access to education for eligible candidates.

In BCom Honours, students may select a few optional subjects for specialisation in various areas. Some of the common optional subjects are Corporate Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Management, Income Tax, Auditing, Business Statistics, Business Mathematics, Financial Markets and Institutions, and International Business. Students select 4-6 optional subjects during their second and third years, depending on the curriculum of a particular university.
