Both the open universities offer BCom/ BCom (H) course. They can be compared on the basis of fees, degree value, student reviews, curriculum, etc. In fee comparison, the BRAOU BCom course is more economical with tuition fees of INR 7,700, while the BCom (H) at Odisha State Open University is INR 11,700. It must be noted that the mentioned course fee is as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

No, there is no entrance score requirement for BCom (H) admission in OSOU. The open university admit candidates based on performance in the last qualifying examination. Aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent exam pass can apply for course admission. The application form can be filled out in online mode.

Based on the current market trend, it is highly competitive to get hired by top recruiters for Commerce. These recruiters, including the Big 4 accounting firms, major banks, and multinational corporations, receive a large number of applications from qualified candidates. While these firms do hire Commerce graduates, they typically have high standards and look for individuals with a strong combination of academic qualifications, relevant skills, and practical experience.
