Although no particular 2025 cutoff is announced, in the past, there was essentially a minimum aggregate of 50-55 percent in 10+2 with Commerce subjects. Several colleges in Mysore offer the Chartered Accountancy (CA) course, either as a standalone programme or in combination with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree. JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science is a prominent institution offering this course. Other options include Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and Christ University, which are known for their strong accounting and finance programs. Additionally, some colleges offer CA coaching alongside a B.Com degree, like the one mentioned at Christ University.

The online search did not produce the cutoff details for B.Com. at Panjab University. The eligibility criteria for B.Com. at Panjab University requests a minimum 50% in class 12th for general category students. Students of reserved categories like SC/ST and or OBC may have some degree of relaxation in the minimum percentage. Some good colleges or universities may be asking for 60% or above.

It is difficult to definitively say what your chances are with a low score, as admission to PSG College of Arts and Science for B.Com. (CS) is primarily based on merit, meaning your 12th-grade scores. However, a "low score" is subjective. Typically, a competitive score for B.Com. at PSG is around 75%, but this can fluctuate based on the number of applicants. If your score is significantly below that, your chances may be lower, but it's still worth applying, especially if you have other strengths or if the competition is less intense in a particular year.
