University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad accepts the admission of candidates in B.Sc programme on the basis of their KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) rank.The minimum cutoff for B.Sc at University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad was 33354 all india rank in KCET 2023 for general category. The minimum cutoff changes every year. In 2022, the minimum cutoff rank for B.Sc programme of UAS was 23888 all india rank. In 2021, the minimum cutoff rank was 11713. Yes, you are eligible to take admission into University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad with 70% in ICAR because the eligibility criteria is that the aspiring candidate must've scored atleast 50% in 12th board examination or equivalent 10+2 examination. The exams that are accepted are ICAR AIEEA, KCET, CBSE 12th and Karnataka 2nd PUC. But keep in mind that by just being eligible doesn't necessarily means that you'll surely get a seat in University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS). There will be further more selection rounds after which UAS will finally release the list of students who secured a seat at UAS.

The admissions to UAS are done either on the basis of the entrance exam rank or the basis of the academic merit. It depends upon the candidate that which course does he wants to join. The admission to B.Tech course of UAS Dharwad is based on the performance of the candidate in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad has not released their official placement statistics of 2023, 2022 and 2021. Last time they released their official placement statistics was in 2020. In 2020 the highest package was 8 Lacs per annum and median package was around 5 Lacs per annum. According to the reviews written by students, the highest package for 2023 batch during placements was near 11 Lacs per annum. UAS has not released their placement statistics on their official website since 2020. In 2020 the highest package was about 8 Lacs per annum and the median package was around 5 Lacs per annum. According to the college reviews written by the students of UAS, it is reported that the highest package for the 2023 passed out batch was near about 11 Lacs per annum and the median package was 6.5 Lacs per annum. Overall the placement scenario has improved since 2020. Placement wise UAS is a decent university.

Yes, University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad is definitely a good option for candidates who want to pursue B.Sc course . Some of the reasons why University of Agricultural Sciences is a good option for candidates are :-
1) It is an old and a reputed college. It was established in the year 1986. Therefore its alumni network is quite strong.
2) It provides above average placements to it students. Its median package for 2023 batch was approximately 6 Lacs per annum.
3) The campus life is awesome at UAS. Various sports and extra cocurricular facilities have been provided.

Overall the campus life at University of Agricultural Sciences (UAS), Dharwad is quite good. Many sports grounds and coaches are present in the campus for the sports enthusiasts. Regularly 1-3 events are held in a month in the college campus. There is no dress code. Students are free to wear what they wish to. The mees food is also quite nice. The food is hygienic and quality is also good. The taste of the food is also above average. Variety of options are provided to the students in the mess menu.
