The total course fee includes components such as the tuition fee, hostel charges (if opted), caution deposit, etc. AKGEC MCA tuition fee (for two-year) course is INR 2.22 lakh. There are other fees also, such as caution money, exam fee, etc. Caution money is INR 5,000, which is refundable.

The students can register for AKTU counselling for admission to AKGEC MTech courses. The registration and application can be done online. Candidates are required to fill out the application form online via the official website. The starting date of counselling registration will be intimated separately on the website. Admission to MTech at Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College is through counselling and direct admission basd on fulfiment of eligibility criteria. Thus, aspirants can take admission through the counselling conducted by APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. Direct admission is also granted to the candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria which is passing a relevant BTech degree with 60% aggregate from a recognised university.
