The admission process for Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering is conducted offline. The eligibility criteria for admission to the undergraduate engineering programme is a pass in 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% in English.
The application process has two stages:
- Stage One: The aspiring candidate registers online and appears for ACET (ADYPU Common Entrance Test).
- Stage Two: The candidate appears for a personal interview.

It is difficult to say whether Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering is as good as Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology. There are some this one thing that can be taken in concideration is that both the school offer alot a similar courses such as, BE in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science programs are at both schools.

No, admissions to the MTech programme at KJSSE are based on the entrance exam score of candidates. Hence, direct admissions are not offered by this college. The eligibility criteria for the MTech course at K J Somaiya School of Engineering is that candidate should have passed graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
Also, the entrance exams accepted by the college include GATE, PERA CET, MHT CET, CUET-PG, etc. The duration of the course is for two years. Additionally, the K J Somaiya School of Engineering MTech fees is around INR 1 lakh.

The application process for BTech at K J Somaiya School of Engineering is completely done via JEE Main exam. Candidates have to apply for JEE Main on the official website of NTA and fill the application form with all the relevant details. The category-wise application fee for JEE Main is given below:
