Ajeenkya DY Patil University, School of Engineering

The Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering offers a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programme for the academic year 2023-24. The Computer Engineering department of the school presently offers an undergraduate course in Computer Engineering with an intake capacity of 120 students. The eligibility criteria for admission to the BTech programme in Biomedical Engineering at the School of Engineering is a pass in 10+2, A Level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or any technical vocational subjects as optional with a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects.

Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering requires prospective students to take an entrance exam in order to be admitted. The mandatory entrance test for all prospective students from India who seek admission to any undergraduate or postgraduate programme at ADYPU is the ADYPU Common Entrance Test (ACET). The test is held once a year and is a university-level examination for courses in Liberal Arts, Design, Engineering, Law, etc. The entrance test is divided into two parts, each part is of 50 marks, and part one is common for all. The cutoff rank for entrance exams undertaken by candidates is the closing rank for admission to Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering. For Ph.D. programs, admission is done on the basis of a valid score obtained in Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET).

The admission process for Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering is conducted offline. The eligibility criteria for admission to the undergraduate engineering programme is a pass in 10+2 scheme of examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics and also at least 50% in English.

The application process has two stages:

1. Stage One: The aspiring candidate registers online and appears for ACET (ADYPU Common Entrance Test).
2. Stage Two: The candidate appears for a personal interview.

The admission process for Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering is as follows:

1. Eligibility: Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
   • Pass in 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to the reserved category).
   • For M.Des, candidates are admitted based on the ACET for Design School, Campus Studio Test, followed by a Personal Interview.
   • For PGDP courses, admission is based on the candidate's performance in the ADYPU Entrance Test.
2. Application: The application process consists of two stages:
   • Stage One: Aspiring candidates must register online and appear for the ADYPU Common Entrance Test (ACET)
   • Stage Two: After clearing the ACET, candidates are required to participate in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
3. Offline Mode: The admission process for Ajeenkya DY Patil School of Engineering is conducted in offline mode only.
