Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology (AIT) offers admission to B.Tech courses based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination with 50% marks from a recognised board [5]. The admission process for B.Tech courses at AIT is based on merit marks secured by the candidates in their qualifying entrance exam and relevant educational performance.

Dr. AIT is an autonomous engineering college located in Bangalore, India. Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology does not accept JEE scores for admission to its B.E./B.Tech programs. Instead, the institute accepts COMEDK and KCET entrance exam scores for these programs.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Management and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

MBA/PGDMCandidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations.
Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis.
The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit.
