Yes, Amity University does offer a B.Tech in Food Technology. The course will teach you about food processing, safety, preservation and set you up for a career in the food and beverage industry or research.

There are two types of categories : sponsored and non-sponsored (based on merit). Although the precise distribution isn't made public, the non-sponsored category usually receives a bigger share. Also, there is some merit-based flexibility, sponsored category admissions come with a higher tuition cost.

Yes, candidates can enroll straight at Amity School of Engineering and Technology. Students who receive an aggregate score of 80% or more in Class 12(CBSE/ISC/State-Boards of 2024-2025) are eligible for direct admission to the university. However, a variety of entrance tests and portfolio scores are also used to determine admission to the courses offered by Amity School of Engineering and Technology.

For taking admission in the BCom (Hons) course at the Amity University, Noida branch, Mathematics is not required as a compulsory subject in Class 12. Students without mathematics are also eligible to take admission in the BCom (Hons) course only if they meet the other described criteria. However, the knowledge of mathematics is very much required to understand the course better. Therefore, to compensate that gap, BCom (Hons) curriculum includes mathematics as subject in the first year of thr course.
