If the graduation has been a learning activity and there is a job coming your way through graduation, then doing a PG in distance is okay but the candidate has to work very hard, really hard on the personal + professional front.

B.Sc. in Animation is a job oriented animation course available in India.
In B.Sc. Animation program, there exist specialization subjects. Students have to select an area of specialization.
To access this course, you must have some skills:
Good observational skills
Creativity
Drawing/sketching skills
Patience and concentration
Ability to get into character
Communication skills (to interact with team)
Eye for detail
Computer and software skills
Teamwork skills

Yes, you can go for B.Sc. Gaming and VFX if you are not good at drawing but you have good observation, ample creativity and vivid imagination. In fact, many technical departments in film-making process including Dynamics, Rigging, Texturing, Lighting, Animation etc. Do not require sketching skills at all. Working on the software does not require much sketching. Besides, there is always a provision to import references, if any help is required.
