Absolutely, but you need to do a proper course from somewhere where good infrastructure is available along with the latest technology.
Also, success in animation and multimedia depends on a person's creativity.

Except for one or two colleges, a majority do not teach VFX as a standalone course. If a course is totally a specialized VFX course, then it would require at least 1000 hours of teaching at a PG or Diploma level and 2500 - 3000 hours at UG Degree level. The cost per hour could be anywhere between Rs. 150 - Rs. 300. So, expect a fee around 1.5 to 2 lakhs for a PG / Diploma course and 5-6 lakhs for a UG Degree course.
