SSN College of Engineering follows the guidelines by Anna University for admission in engineering colleges. Here the admissions are given based on guidelines issued by Anna University for 65% of the total intake and is based on the marks obtained in 12th standard by the Tamil Nadu Board of students who are to domiciled in Tamil Nadu. The remaining seats are distributed under different categories. But these too are filled up based on merit of 12th marks only. The entire process is pretty straight forward and it is explained in brief:
1. You need to obtain a minimum of 50% marks in each physics, chemistry and maths. For marine engineering, however, you need 60% marks in these 3 subject plus 50% in English.
2. Once the results are out, you need to fill the application form either online at 5. Make sure you keep all your marksheets and a demand draft (DD) of Rs. 500/- handy at the time of filling the application form.
3. If you have filled the online form, you'll have to take a print out of the completed form. Submit the printout/physical form along with a DD for Rs. 500/- at one
