Yes, you can get admission to BTech at Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Utukur, without Andhra Pradesh EAMCET. To be eligible for admission to the course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 50% aggregate in Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects from any recognised institute. Although admissions are done based on scores obtained in the APICET exam. There are some seats reserved for direct admission under the management quota or the NRI quota.

Annamacharya institute of Technology and sciences primarly accepts students based on their performance in the state common merit list (EAPCET).They may also consider the score in Annamacharya university entrance test.For B.Tech, students must have passed 12th with 45% marks in chemistry, physics and mathematics.

Annamacharya Institute of Technology and Sciences, Utukur, can be considered an average college for placements. Around 30-40% of the students get placed every year. The recent highest package offered at the college is INR 6 LPA, and the average package is around INR 2-2.5 LPA. Some top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cyient, etc. Placements rate and packages were much better before 2023.
