Most of the similarly ranked universities in USA have shown a slight improvement in their world ranks based on the Quacquarelli Symonds World Rankings. If we compare Northeastern University and Arizona State University, their QS world rankings are given in the table below:

George Mason University (GMU) & Arizona State University (ASU) are two of the best higher educational institutions in their respective regions. While, GMU is based in Fairfax, Virginia, ASU has set up camp in Tempe, Arizona.

They share similar acceptance rates, with the GMU acceptance rate being 91%, while ASU's being 90%. There are some parameters that are not as common though, as shown in the comparison below:

Both University of Illinois at Chicago & ASU are among the best institutions in the United States. However, both are selective to varying degrees, when it comes to admitting students, the UOI acceptance rate is 79%, while that of ASU is around 90%

Thus, it can be inferred that securing a seat at ASU is relatively easier as compared to at UOI.

Indian Student Association at ASU is a non-profit organization for all Indian students. The objectives of this association is to promote service and leadership opportunities. This association aims to help new students with the transition to the USA and provide support for educational and social issues that students may face at the university.

There are more than 1,000 student organizations and clubs at ASU University. A few of the categories of these organizations are academic, cultural / ethnic, political, international, special awareness, technology, etc. There is also an Indian Student Association at the university. A few other associations and organizations for international students at the university are:

The total no. of students enrolled at Tempe campus is 56,000+. Furthermore, the total number of international student enrollment is 17,700+.
