Army College of Dental Sciences

The online application process for admission at Army College of Dental Sciences starts with candidates have first checking their eligibility for the course they are applying for. After ensuring that they meet the eligibility requirements of preferred course, they must register online by paying the registration fee online on the official portal of Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences. After successful registration, candidates are automatically issued an online acknowledgement form with registration number by the university. All candidates who receive Registration Number from Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences, should forward the scanned copy of required documents online to Army college of Dental Sciences for online verification of the same.

After the last date of registration and document verification, the merit list is uploaded on the official portal of the university. NEET UG/MDS score of only those students, who have registered successfully and have had their documents verified online, are considered for the merit list.

For first year BDS students at Army College of Dental Sciences, the total annual fee including tuition, hostel and refundable security deposit amounts to about INR 5.05 lakh. An amount of INR 1200/- PM is paid every month to students as stipend during their period of internship. For civilian candidates, present tuition fee is Rs 45,000/- PM. For the total fee of second to fourth year, students are notified before the commencement of next academic year.

For first year MDS students the total annual fee including tuition, hostel and refundable security deposit amounts to about INR 6.2 lakh. An amount of INR 2500/- PM is paid every month to students as stipend during their period of internship. For the total fee of second & third year, students are notified before the commencement of next academic year.

A total of 50 seats are available at Army College of Dental Sciences for BDS while 15 seats are available for MDS. The following seat reservation policy is followed for BDS at the college:

·       Competent Authority quota - 7

·       Management quota - 43

1.       Army personnel - 41

2.       Navy personnel - 1

3.       Air Force personnel – 1

Out of 15 seats in MDS course, 1 seat in each specialisation is reserved for the wards of Indian Air Force & Indian Navy (Management Quota) through NEET MDS rank and three seats are reserved for the students of Telangana Domicile (Competent Authority Quota) on rotation.

Selected students are initially given provisional admission at Army College of Dental Sciences. The documents required at the time of joining MDS at Army college of Dental Sciences, after admission confirmation:

• Provisional allotment letter issued by KNRUHS.
• NEET MDS-2025 hall ticket, and Rank card.
• All memorandum of marks from First BDS to Final BDS.
• Registration Certificate from the respective State Dental Council.
• Internship certificate/Experience certificate.
• Original and provisional BDS certificate.
• Conduct and character certificate of the college from which the student has graduated.
• Study certificate of BDS course.
• Medical certificate – Certificate 4 of ACDS MDS Prospectus-2025. 
• Migration Certificate & Transfer Certificate.

The mandatory internship gives the students critical field experience that is required for any aspiring doctor. With a meagre seat intake of 3 in MDS Orthdontics, the admission into the college is highly competitive and selective. The high competition ensures that only the top students get admitted to the course, hence, providing a rigorous environment for students. While, there are no direct placements from the college, students do get placed in the Army.
