Nehru Arts and Science College admits students to its BSc courses based on merit in Class 12. In order to be eligible to apply, a candidate must have passed Class 12 and obtained a HSC certificate from a recognised board. Following is the list of boards recognised by the NASC for BSc admissions:

• Higher Secondary Certificate course (Class 12), conducted by the Government of Tamil Nadu
• Indian School Certificate course, conducted by ICSE
• Delhi Senior School Certificate course, conducted by CBSC
• All India Senior School Certificate course, conducted by CBSC

Students who have passed Class 12 from boards other than Tamil Nadu’s require to present and verify their migration certificate at the day of interview.

The Upper age limit for a candidate seeking admission to Nehru Arts and Science College BSc courses was 21 (twenty-one) years as of July 1, 2024. • Single Parent Scholarship-30% concession in semester fee to students with single parent
• Nehru Vigyan Scholarship (UG)- INR 3,000/- Fee concession if HSC Percentage is between 70 –74 and INR 5,000/- Concession if HSC Percentage is 75 and above

The Single Parent Scholarship offers the highest amount of fee concession (30%). In order to be eligible the student must provide proof for single parent (Death Certificate, Divorce).

As per the NIRF report 2024, the median package offered to BSc students during Nehru Arts and Science College Coimbatore placements 2023 was INR 2.52 LPA. In 2022, the median package offered was INR 2.2 LPA. In the year 2021, the median package of NR 2.85 LPA was offered.

Nehru Arts and Science College BSc three years’ placements show notable trends. In the year 2021, the median package stood at 2.85 lakhs. However, it decreased to 2.2 Lacs in 2022.The placement package witnessed a dip of 20%.
