Students who achieve 75% marks in their 12th-year UP board studies can apply to pursue Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in esteemed educational institutions throughout Lucknow and Prayagraj. Students should consider applying for BFA at the College of Arts and Crafts, University of Lucknow that uses exam results and Allahabad University that evaluates candidates through testing along with merit-based admission. Private colleges across these cities usually have BFA admissions cutoff between 60% to 75%. Students must pay between Rs 20,000 and Rs 80,000 per year for their BFA studies in different institutions.

Royal Global University in Guwahati does not explicitly offer music as a distinct choice within its Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program based on available information.
The university's BFA is typically considered to be more focused on visual arts like painting, sculpture, and applied arts, corresponding to the structure of BFA courses that are generally found in India. It does offer courses in the liberal arts and other creative fields, although music is not mentioned as a specialization under the BFA on its official website or in standard program descriptions.
