JNAFAU MFA graduates can apply for jobs in the creative job profiles. Candidates with MFA degree can pursue a career in interior design, visual arts, graphic design, industrial design, film production, etc. There is no age limit in this course and hence, anyone with an interest in the creative world with a BFA degree can apply. The university College of Fine Arts has a total intake of 61 for the MFA courses. Out of this, the highest seat count is for Applied Art and Visual Communication and Photography and Media Communication. There are 20 seats each for the aforementioned MFA course specialisations. Yes, the university has reserved seats under its MFA programmes. To avail this seat, candidates have to submit the important documents. • 5% supernumerary seats for students of other states under National Integration Scheme (NIS).
• 10% supernumerary seats of the intake for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS).

The selection in MFA course of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University is entrance-based. Aspirants have to take the University Entrance Test for admission. The course has both practical and theoretical subjects, such as portrait painting, mural design, aesthetics, and Indian contemporary art. After graduation, students can work as professional artists and participate in art shows and gallery exhibitions and earn upto INR 10 LPA or more that totally depends on their skills and experience.
