No, Assam University does not allow direct admission to MBA courses. To be eligible for admission to all management courses offered by Assam University, candidates must qualify for their Class 12 with a 60% score from a recognised board and must achieve 55% in bachelor's degree. After qualifying for this basic eligibility criteria candidates must have secured valid/competitive scores in the CAT/ XAT/ CUET PG/ CMAT entrance examination. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to GD and PI. Furthermore, candidates must submit documents on which they completed the Bachelor’s degree and other academic & personal details. 

Assam University is a government university, so the fees for MBA courses are low-cost —the total tuition fees start from INR 3,600 and end at INR 7,200. In continuation, the admission and registration fees for the master's business administration course at AU start at INR 1,500 till INR 300, respectively.  The fee amount taken here is extracted from the verified sources and can be changed. 

The selection process for the MBA course at Assam University requires candidates to clear the basic eligibility criteria first, secondly, the candidates must achieve a good score in the accepted entrance examination. Yes, Assam University, Silchar offers MBA courses for two-year in full-time mode. The university offers two major specialisations, one is Post graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and another is MBA in Hospitality & Tourism Management. Additionally, the university also offers five year BBA + MBA integrated course for five-years. The university accepts XAT, CAT, CUET-PG, CMAT and CUET scores for admission to this course. 

Students for 30 percent of seats in Master's degree programmes in AUs are admitted through AIEEA (PG). All (100 per cent) seats of the four ICAR-DUs namely, Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI), Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), National Dairy Research Institute (NDRI) and the Central Institute of Fisheries Education (CIFE) and CAUs, viz. RLBCAU, Jhansi and Dr RPCAU, Pusa are also filled up through the same examination.

One of the most popular student majors at Assam University is computer Science and engineering. Assam University's BTech placement rates, however, are lower than those of other state and central universities. Nevertheless, compared to other disciplines offered under the BTech programme at Assam University, the CSE discipline in particular is significantly superior.

Applicants must sit the JEE-Main test to be considered for admission to the BTech programme in Computer Science Engineering (CSE). To be qualified for Assam University's counselling process, they must obtain a respectable rank.
