There are a few eligibility criteria that must be fulfilled in order to secure admission to BA Archaeology programs at most of the government or private universities in India.

  • Students must have passed their class 12th board exams in any stream from a recognized university of India.
  • Students must have secured at least 50% marks in their 12th class marksheet.
  • Many universities provide 5-10% relaxation to the reserved category students in their 12th class marksheets.
  • As such, there is no age limit specified.

The eligibility criteria for BA (H) in Economics at KIIT School of Economics & Commerce is mentioned in this space:

  • Pass in Class 12 in any stream with at least 50% aggregate and having Mathematics/ Business Mathematics & Statistics as one of the subjects in Class 12 level.

Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Deemed to be University) Indore grants BA admission to the candidates who fulfil the predefined eligibility and selection criteria. To be eligible to pursue the Prestige Institute of Management and Research (Deemed to be University) Indore BA course, applicants must have obtained at least 50% (or an equivalent grade) in Class 12 in any stream from MP Board of Secondary Education, Bhopal, or an equivalent examination from any other recognised board. The minimum aggregate required in the case of SC, ST and PwD (as defined by the Government of Madhya Pradesh) categories is 45%.

Here are the Admission Requirements for BA (Hons) in English at Quantum University:

To be considered for the BA (Hons) in English program, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- Successful completion of 12th grade  with English as a compulsory subject

Fergusson College offers a three-year BA course. Students who wish to get admission to the course need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. Passed class 12 in any stream from a recognized board are eligible. Also, students have to produce original documents proving their eligibility at the time of admission.

BA in Music ( western Contemporary music) at NMIMS school of performing Arts Mumbai eligibility criteria: 

  1. Students have must 10+2 exam passed at least 50% marks at any stream.
  2. Students having good potential and skills can be considered as a special case and allowed for audition round or equivalent examination from a recognised board with minimum 50% marks. 
  3. All eligible candidates who wish to apply for our program, must upload a video of their performance on YouTube and attach the link in the application form. The candidates will then be shortlisted and called in for auditions on specific dates.

If a candidate has a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12 then they are eligible for admission in the MDSU Ajmer BA programme. Candidates are selected on the basis of the merit secured in their Class 12 exam. MDSU Ajmer provides BA admission in its main campus as well as through multiple affiliated colleges. Therefore, candidates have multiple colleges if they want to apply for BA admission at the university and each college has a different cutoff.
