Yes, BA is available in United University Allahabad. The three year course is offered in an honor degree in two specialisations specialisations, i.e., English and Journalism. The BA (Hons) curriculum includes five compulsory subjects along with a few elective subjects in each semesters. Admission to the BA (Hons) course is merit and entrance-based. United University accepts state-level entrance exams and in-house entrance exams for admission to the BA (Hons) in Journalism and Mass Communication. Further, admission to BA(Hons) English is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam.

  • Candidates from the Sikh minority can also seek admission under the minority quota as 50% of seats are reserved for the Sikh Minority Quota. Candidates seeking admission under this category are required to seek the minority certificate from the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee.
