For pure academics and affordability, government and grant-in-aid colleges like HL College of Commerce are hard to beat. They charge very low fees and have highly experienced faculty with decades of teaching expertise. But, hotels like Ahmedabad University provides better infrastructural facilities, industry exposure, and international collaborations. Depends upon your preference whether you want to chose right institutes on the basis of fee or better infrastructure.

BCom with Accounting and Finance is the most popular and job-friendly specialisation in Ahmedabad. Given the city's strong financial and business ecosystem, graduates with this specialisation find it easier to land jobs in banking, accounting, and corporate finance. BCom with Computer Applications is also gaining popularity as more companies look for commerce graduates with tech skills. Choosing a specialisation that aligns with your career goal is more important than going with the most common one.

Yes, and Ahmedabad is actually one of the best cities in India to pursue both simultaneously. Many BCom colleges here have flexible attendance policies that accommodate CA aspirants. The city has a large number of reputed CA coaching institutes and Article ship firms, making it easier to manage both. Several students from Ahmedabad have successfully cleared CA while completing their BCom degree.

Yes, graduating from a top commerce college in India really can lead to some good salary jobs. Investment banking, chartered accountancy, financial consulting and corporate finance jobs have a starting salary of around INR 6 LPA to 15 LPA. That said, most of the high-paying jobs also require some additional certification like CA, MBA or CFA on top of your BCom degree. The institution you go to may matter but the certifications earned and the skill development done in those three years matters a lot more.

No, the basic eligibility criteria says, students need to have minimum of 60% marks during graduation. Students may still consult the college for any relaxation regarding admission. Apart from that, students must have passed Class 12 with minimum 60% marks in any stream.
