Hi, yes you can definitely pursue BSc in Biotechnology without any entrance exam as most of the colleges accept students on merit basis. You can also pursue BSc in Biotechnology by appearing for entrance exams like TS EAMCET, CUET, SAT India, etc.

Banaras Hindu University, and Jawaharlal Nehru University. Additionally, Delhi Technological University (DTU) and Jamia Millia Islamia are also well-regarded for this program.

For the B.Sc. Biotechnology programme at Jamia Millia Islamia through CUET UG 2025, you should choose Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biological Studies/Biotechnology/Biochemistry. Additionally, you will need to select one language from the list provided by CUET.

To get admission into the B.Sc Biotechnology course in Karnataka through KCET, a candidate must first qualify the KCET exam. The minimum qualifying marks are typically around 50% of the total KCET score for General category and around 45% for OBC and other reserved categories. The cutoff rank for B.Sc Biotechnology varies by college, but in general, it can go up to 1,00,000 or more in government and private colleges offering this course. Admission is granted based on KCET rank and seat availability during the counseling process.
