Candidates who are from outside Gujarat need to apply for a provisional eligibility certificate from Gujarat University for BSc admission. This certificate must be obtained before GCAS counselling registration is done. Candidates with Gujarat domicile do not require this certificate.

Yes, Gujarat University BSc admissions are open for academic year 2026. GCAS registrations are scheduled to remain open until July second week.
After allotment of seats, candidates are required to confirm by paying admission fees. Admission fees will be paid to alloted campus after GCAS couselling.

Gujarat University BSc eligibility criteria does not require Biology as manadatory subject.
However, certain courses such as BSc in Food & Nutritional Sciences do require candidates to Biology as well as English as mandatory subjects in Class 12th to fulfill eligibility criteria.
